The Simhastha Nashik Kumbh runs from approximately August 14 to November 11, 2027, with peak bathing days clustered through August–October. Exact dates are confirmed by the district administration closer to the event.
There is no central registration for pilgrims. You should however book stays early and carry a valid ID for security checkpoints during peak snan days.
For Shahi Snan dates, six to nine months ahead is normal. For non-snan windows, two months is usually enough.
Nashik has a domestic airport at Ozar, but most visitors fly into Mumbai (165 km) or Pune (210 km) and travel by road or train.
